USS Challenger

The USS Challenger is a chapter of the International Federation of Trekkers, a worldwide organization of fans dedicated to the ideals of Gene Roddenberry's Star Trek

The Challenger's mission is to promote Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations (IDIC) and to provide aid to those in need. Towards that end, we participate in no less than three charity or community service events each year.

We also meet once a month in the West Park/Kamm's Corners neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio and have a lot of fun talking, playing games, and planning our events. Meetings are held at the Savor the Moment Coffee Shop on the first Saturday of every month at 11AM local time and are open to the public.

Website Redesign
After careful consideration, the decision has been made to convert to an HTML website for the Challenger. While TRSM is a wonderful system for its intended purpose, it has far too many features that would not be used for the Challenger. There shouldn't be much, if any, visual difference in the website, but there will no longer be a log in function and information about the crew will be limited to what's displayed on the Senior Staff page.

Membership Renewals
As a general reminder, all members of the Challenger who intend to continue as members next year need to send in your renewal forms and annual membership dues by December 31st. The turnaround time for membership packets after receipt is at about 1 week right now, but expect that time to increase as we near the end of the year, due to the large number of renewals that will need processing.
