Website Redesign Completed! It took a year and a half, but the website rebuild is finally at a stage that can be called complete. More content MAY be added in the near future, but all of the current pages on the menu are complete at this time.

Meeting Date Adjustments Due to Easter being the day after our normal meeting day this month, we will be having two meetings so that those who cannot attend on the normal day can still make it and get all the juicy gossip... err, important updates. Also, the May meeting will be held on the last Saturday of April (the 28th) as Fleet Captain Meyer will be out of town the entire first weekend of May.

IFT Annual Awards Announced!

IFT HQ has announced the annual awards for 2010! The USS Challenger received the following awards:

Distinguished Service - Awarded to a chapter or member who consistently goes above and beyond the call of duty.

Dedication to the Dream – Awarded to Chapters that complete charity work or community service work during the year

IFT Honor Roll – The top ten of IFT's ship compliment

Most Improved Chapter – Given to the chapter that shows the most improved morale in a given year. Examples are increased meetings, socials, fund raisers or events, contact and participation in IFT functions.

Graham Award – Awarded to the ship whose Captain files a monthly report on time each month. Chapter must be fully commissioned the entire year.

Membership Renewals As a general reminder, all members of the Challenger who intend to continue as members next year need to send in your renewal forms and annual membership dues by December 31st. The turnaround time for membership packets after receipt is at about 1 week right now, but expect that time to increase as we near the end of the year, due to the large number of renewals that will need processing.

Meeting Time Adjustment Due to other events, the USS Challenger meeting today has been moved up to 9am at the same location. Depending on the end time of our other events some of the crew may also be at the meeting location for a short time in the early afternoon.
